The Highway Commissioner of Joliet Township Road District does hereby invite sealed bids for the 2024-2025 Bulk Treated Salt specifications in accordance with AS1M- D632 Specification unless hereinafter specified otherwise, which shall be a Sodium Chloride (NaCl), minimum purity content of 95 percent (pro-treating) or an acceptable approved alternate. Questions regarding the proposal forms can be directed to the Clerk at 815-726-4781 x309 or clerk@joliettownship.net. In addition, all bidders must comply with the Responsible Bidders Act of the State of Illinois. The successful bidder will be required to post performance security and to provide a Certificate of Insurance as set forth in the Invitation to Bid and the general terms and conditions. The Highway Commissioner will make his decision at a later date and reserves the right to reject any and all bids, part of any and all bids, or to waive technical errors or omissions in bids.
