The City of Redwood City is soliciting bids from the State of California's Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) accredited laboratories to provide various drinking water and non drinking water laboratory analyses and reporting services for the Public Works Services Department (PWS). All necessary fuel, equipment, materials, insurances, and personnel should be included in the bid. The Public Works Services Department maintains and operates a drinking water distribution system, a recycled water distribution system, a sanitary sewer collection system, natural streams and creeks, the Redwood Shores lagoon, and groundwater pumps. Analyses on system samples are required for monitoring and compliance under various federal and state regulations. All analyses must be performed in accordance with standards and procedures set forth by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations Part 136, California Code of Regulations, and State and Regional Water Resources Control Board guidelines. Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for laboratory analyses of drinking water, recycled water, storm water, brackish lagoon, groundwater, soil, and other samples.
