The City of Cedar Rapids is seeking Proposals from qualified and experienced Consultants with backgrounds in aquatics, recreation, architecture, and engineering, for a comprehensive facilities conditions and needs assessment primarily for the City's six (6) aquatic facilities, with options to add up to eleven (11) splash pads, operated and maintained by the Parks and Recreation Department. This assessment will guide the City in updating the Aquatic Facilities Master Plan for future operations by providing direction and recommendations on potential improvements, upgrades, renovations, operational costs, and funding source opportunities. The assessment will include the following aquatic facilities, including all related components and support systems. After an award is made, a proposal summary will be sent to all companies who submitted a proposal. Proposal results will not be given over the telephone or prior to award. Proposals may be withdrawn any time prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of proposals; no proposal may be modified or withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days thereafter.
