SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, and transportation necessary to complete the Project that includes the rehab of an existing well including the furnishing and installation of pump, electrical, storage tank, booster pump package and piping. Project also proposes the construction of a pipeline on the property from the pump and storage site to the irrigation site, as shown on the Bid Documents, including the Plans and Specifications. Pursuant to Public Contract Code Section 22300, the successful bidder may substitute certain securities for funds withheld by the Department to ensure its performance under the Contract. The County shall award the Contract for the Project to the lowest responsible bidder as determined from the base bid by the Department. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technical errors, discrepancies or informalities of a bid not affected by law, if to do so seems to best serve the public interest.
