The Housing Authority of the City of Vancouver (VHA) is issuing this competitive solicitation with the intention of awarding a contract for the purchase of an HVAC replacement for our St. Helen's Manor property. In accordance with RCW 39.26, purchases of goods and services must be based on a competitive procurement process in which the Contract is awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. The VHA reserves the right to amend and modify this competitive solicitation. The VHA invites qualified vendors to propose and submit a solution to: 1. Review the existing electric furnaces and specify/supply new like-for-like units. 2. Apply for and obtain all permits and inspections required to complete the project. 3. Remove existing electric furnaces and replace with specified like-for-like units with owner's prior approval. a. Basis of Design: Existing York electric furnaces. 4. Dispose of all removed equipment. 5. Arrange for all required inspections, as required, and close out permits upon project completion.
