Major items of work: Interior improvements at the Hillsboro, Kansas Water Treatment Plant including: installing permanganate feed system with dual containment holding tank; cutting in flanged tees and two (2) 16" butterfly valves in overhead piping; and installing static mixer in overhead piping. Project Funding - This project is funded by the Kansas Public Water Supply Revolving Loan Fund through the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE). Labor Standards - The prevailing wage rates of the State of Kansas apply to this contract as do any requirements of the State of Kansas associated with the use of these State Prevailing wages. The prevailing wage rates of the Department of Labor apply to this project. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the bid shall accompany each bid in accordance with Instructions to Bidders.
