Renovation of a mixed-use development in Long Branch, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Sealed Proposals for: New Standby Generators at Morris Avenue Early Childhood Learning Center, Audrey W. Clark School and Lenna W. Conrow Early Childhood Learning Center Long Branch, Monmouth County, New Jersey Work of the project shall include mobilization, selective demolition, earthwork, cast in place concrete, natural gas standby generators, gas piping, automatic transfer switches, panelboards, associated electrical equipment, conduit and wiring to feed existing lighting, IT equipment, A/C units, refrigerators, boilers and pumps to provide standby power. Bids must be made in the standard proposal form in the manner designated herein and as required by the Specifications that must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the job and name and address of the bidder on the outside, addressed to: Peter E Genovese, III School Business Administrator, clearly marked on the outside: Bid For: NEW STANDBY GENERATORS Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or bid bond, made payable to LONG BRANCH BOARD OF EDUCATION, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00. All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an acceptable surety company, agreeing to furnish the required Performance (100%), Payment (100%) and Maintenance Bonds upon award of this Contract. All surety bonds in connection with the advertisement and award of this Contract must be written by a surety company whose qualification and authority to issue bonds in New Jersey has been certified by the New Jersey Commissioner of Insurance pursuant to the provisions of NJSA 17:17-1 et seq. The surety company shall also be listed under OMB Circular 570. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et seq., NJAC 17:27, as amended and supplemented from time to time (Mandatory Affirmative Action) P.L. 1999, C.238 (Public Works Registration), P.L. 1963, C. 150 (Prevailing Wages) and P.L. 2004, C. 57 (New Jersey Business Registration Requirements). The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids, in whole or in part, or to make awards to such Bidder who, in the judgement of the Long Branch Board of Education, makes the most advantageous bid and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
