Remodeling of an educational facility in Logan, Utah. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
The project is to remodel multiple existing spaces in the existing graduate student department offices in the Old Main Building at USU. The remodeled rooms will consist of: - Entry lobby - 3 new faculty offices - Remodel of and existing Break Area - Remodel of an existing Conference Room - Modifications to an existing faculty office The extent of remodel varies in each room. Generally, there will be demolition of existing framed/sheetrocked walls as well as wood doors and with metal frames. Existing ceilings, flooring, existing electrical and mechanical will also need selective demo in the affected areas. New construction will consist of framing/sheetrock/paint work, new doors/frames and hardware, finish wood trim, new flooring and ceiling finishes as well as new electrical/lighting and HVAC modifications as needed in the affected areas. USU Facilities Planning, Design and Construction reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Owner. If any person or entity contemplating submitting a bid is in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the drawings, specifications or other Contract Documents, such person shall submit to the USU FD&C Project Manager a request for an interpretation thereof. The person or entity submitting the request will be responsible for its prompt delivery. Any interpretation of the proposed documents will be made only by Addenda duly issued and a copy of such Addenda will be mailed or delivered to each person or entity receiving a set of documents. Neither the Owner nor the Consultant will be responsible for any other explanations or interpretations of the proposed documents.
