Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Delta, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
City of Delta; 4914, 4918 and 4926 Delta St; 4924, 4930, 4940, 4942, 4944 and 4946 Chisholm St. 1.) The scope of work is for the complete decommissioning, removal and disposal of three City owned adjacent buildings in Delta, in fall 2024 and winter 2025. Each building should be demolished separately. Please refer to drawings in the Appendix B for more information and dimensions on the buildings 2.) The three buildings are located at the following addresses, are hereby labelled as "BLD1", "BLD2" and "BLD3". a. BLD1: 4918 Delta Street i. A single story wood frame building, with a flat roof, access from its adjacent parking lot at 4914 Delta St, approximately 400 m2 in ground level floor area. ii. Work to begin after October 1, 2024, after current tenants have all permanently vacated the facility. b. BLD2: 4940-4946 Chisholm St i. A two-story wood and concrete masonry unit office type building with a flat roof, approximately 550 m2 in ground floor area. ii. Work to begin after October 31, 2024, after current tenants have all permanently vacated the facility. c. BLD3: 4926 Delta St/4924-4930 Chisholm St i. A combination one and two story industrial type buildings, converted to retail space, approximately 500 m2 in ground floor area. ii. Work to begin after February 1, 2025, after current tenants have all permanently vacated the facility.
