Plans and specifications are for viewing purposes only and in order to be considered an official bidder contractors must obtain plans and specifications from Goodwyn Mills & Cawood LLC. work for construction of: Resurfacing McCaig Road from Aer-Flo Sports to State Route 77. The project consists of: 18,000 SQ YD of full depth reclamation, 450 TONS of port land cement for full depth reclamation, 5,915 TONS of asphalt and other miscellaneous items for full depth reclamation construction including traffic control and erosion control items. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All Contractors preparing Bids for the referenced project shall submit a list of similar projects "successfully completed" in the last 5 years, having the same scope of work with construction cost similar to or greater than this project. Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid filed in the form of a certified check, Bid Bond, or irrevocable Letter of Credit acceptable to the owner payable to the City of Lincoln. Bid Bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in Circular 570 of the U.S. Treasury Department. This project is being funded in part by ARC Project No. AL-21590. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance and payment bonds or an irrevocable "Letter of Credit" which is acceptable to the Owner. Attention of Bidders is called to the license required by Title 34, Chapter 8, of the code of Alabama, 1975, and amendments thereto, relating to the licensing of General Contractors. No bid will be accepted from anyone, except a qualified Contractor, licensed by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors, unless otherwise required by the State Licensing Board.
