Principal Work: 1. New Well House and Generator 2. 2,500 LF 30" HDPE Pipe 3. Road Bore Under Stemley Road Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents are open to public inspection at the office of Owner, City of Lincoln, Alabama 150 Magnolia Street Lincoln, Alabama 35096. The Contractor shall note the project is funded by SRF/ARPA Funds. The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 365 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
