Site work for a water / sewer project in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project shall be substantially completed as soon as possible after Contractor receives a notice to proceed. The City of East Peoria's issuance of the notice to proceed will be dependent upon the City of East Peoria's receipt of the construction permit from the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. Bids will be held good and may not be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days from the due date. Every bid shall consist of two (2) completed copies of Bid Documents and shall be accompanied by bid guarantee consisting of bid bond, certified check or cashier's check made payable to City of East Peoria, in amount of five percent of total of bids upon which Contractor is bidding. Failure of bidder to submit bid bond, certified check or cashier's check in amount to cover proposals bid upon is cause for rejection of this bid. Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of Owner, such action will serve the best interest of Owner.
