The City of Pomona is soliciting bids from firms for Street Improvements and Walking Trail/Steps Rehabilitation City Project No. 428-71078; IFB No. 2024-58. The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required in the specifications and contract documents located in Documents and Attachments tab. Each bid must be accompanied by cash or by a cashier's or certified check or by a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount of bid price payable to the City of Pomona as a guarantee that the bidder, if their bid is accepted, shall promptly execute the contract, secure payment of workman's compensation insurance and furnish all required bonds, as identified herein. If submitting cash, cashier's or certified check, it must be delivered to Public Works before the close of the bid. If the proposer is using a bid bond, please submit it in File 1 of your response (pg. 10). Upon award, the selected vendor will need to furnish the original bid bond to the Public Works Department.
