Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Beckley, West Virginia. Working plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
**As of December 6, 2024, project will rebid, no definite date for the rebid.** Sophia Volunteer Fire Department, (hereinafter called "OWNER"0 invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for concrete foundation work for a new metal building to house a new fire station. The work of this project consists of the following Lump Sum contract. Provide all work, including, but not limited to labor materials, equipment, supplies and transportation for concrete foundations, piers, foundation walls, reinforcing, floor slab, etc., as indicated on the foundation plan. Bids shall be submitted on the contractor's proposal form and shall include a number of days to complete the work. Since time is essential for this project, the contract may be awarded based on the time to complete the work. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all Bids. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of Bids or authorized postponement thereof. Any Bid received after the time and date specified will not be considered. The contractor will be required to submit an affidavit with bid, certifying that no debt is owned the State of West Virginia or any of its Political Subdivisions.
