Renovation of a detention facility in State Farm, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,000-square-foot, one-story above grade detention facility.
The project is generally described as a 10,000 sf, single story, steel frame, masonry wall office building with an additional 10,000 square feet of below grade mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, and crawl space. The scope of work includes demolition of all HVAC systems, lights, and lighting controls. New HVAC equipment shall be provided including, but not limited to new condensing boilers and pumps, one new air handling unit, two new ductless split AC units, new DDC controls with new central BMS. New lighting and lighting controls shall also be provided. See the Project drawings for additional scope. A Bid Bond is required. Copies of the Invitation for Bids documents, including the plans and the specifications, will also be available forinspection at the following locations: (A/E's office) (4551 Cox Rd.; Suite 200; Richmond, VA 23060) The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
