The Bidder shall supply all required supervision, skilled labor, transportation, new materials, apparatus, and tools necessary for the entire and proper completion of the work. The Bidder shall supply, maintain, and remove all equipment for the performance of the work and be responsible for the safe, proper, and lawful construction, maintenance, and use of the same. All questions regarding this Legal Notice and the actual bid specifications shall be submitted in writing through the electronic Question/Answer Tab via the Villages e-Procurement portal, on or before, Wednesday, October 9, 2024 by 12:00 pm. The village of Schaumburg is accepting bids for an elevator modernization project for elevator number 1 at the Wintrust Field located at 1999 S. Springinsguth Road. The modernization project will include new controller, car station, hall stations, emergency phone, door operators and other related hardware and accessories. Scope of work listed is general and does not include all details. The elevator contractor shall provide all related equipment materials and labor required to complete the project to full working order. The following item are to be included in the project: o New non-proprietary microprocessor controller o Harmonic door operator o Hoistway interlocks, pickup rollers, hangers with rollers and gibs as necessary o Main car operating panel in #4 stainless steel finish with video phone (2019 code) o Hall fixtures at each floor in #4 stainless steel finish with hoistway access key switches at terminal floors o Car riding lantern o 3 D electronic door safety edge (2019 code) o Hands free ADA video phone o Car top inspection station o Emergency exit switch o Traveling cable, hoistway wiring, and machine room wiring o ADA compliant signage o One yeaWork To Be Completed by Others The following items will be completed by the Village of Schaumburg in relation to this project: o Machine room ventilation o Machine room lighting will be upgraded o Machine room fused disconnect for cab lighting o Cab lighting will be upgraded o Pit lighting will be upgraded o Internet connection will be terminated in machine room for video phone o Paint existing elevator doors and jambs o Install new flooring in the cabr warranty and maintenance from date of turnover The Village of Schaumburg reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any technicalities, discrepancies, or information in the bids.
