Reference Number: 0000364392 Hilo Benioff Medical Center, a Level III Trauma Center, needs a new solution for our semi-private inpatient rooms to enhance patient privacy, minimize the impacts of hospital noise, and ease the workload on our Laundry and Environmental Services staff. Need exists for a solution for forty two (42) semi-private rooms or eighty four (84) bays that is fully cleanable while in place, wipeable, odor-resistant, stain-resistant, noise reducing, and antimicrobial. Solution must provide 18" of ceiling clearance for proper sprinkler function and not require structural changes. The solution must comply with NFPA 701 Fire Standard and be easily movable for emergency access. Please include documentation on how your solution reduces noise compared to standard linen curtains. Any contractor selected must be able to coordinate logistics for delivery, of the entire order, within a strict two (2) month window.
