BID PACKAGE #5 – 100% CDs – TENANT IMPROVEMENT Project Description Metropolitan Utilities District is constructing a new construction center and related site grading, improvements, utilities, parking and interior roadways, buildings and other infrastructure to support the construction center, consisting of approximately 130,000 square feet, to be located near Hwy 133/Blair High Rd. & Potter St., Omaha, Nebraska. Notice to Bidders: MCL Construction is requesting bids for the following Scopes of Work: 1. Rough & Finish Carpentry Labor 2. Architectural Wood Casework - Supply 3. Countertops 4. Spray Foam Insulation 5. Storefront, Glazing, & Mirrors – INTERIOR SCOPE ONLY 6. Coiling Counter Door 7. Gyp. Board Assemblies & Ceilings 8. Polished, Sealed, & Hardened Concrete 9. Fluid Applied Flooring 10. Tile 11. Carpet & Resilient 12. Painting & Wall Coverings 13. Signage 14. Toilet & Fire Protection Specialties - Supply 15. Wire Mesh Partitions 16. Metal Lockers 17. Loading Dock Equipment 18. Window Shades 19. Pre-Fabricated Guard Shack 20. Stretched Fabric Stockpile Building 21. Interior Slab Striping 22. CNG Fueling Systems All bidders will be required to provide a dual obligee supply or payment & performance bond listing MCL and Metropolitan Utilities District as obligees. This project will be subject to sales tax (5 1/2 %) for all materials. No bidder shall withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Bids will be evaluated based on the lowest responsible bidder which shall mean financial responsibility, the general ability and capacity of the bidder to perform the work, the bidder's facilities and suitability for the task, and those qualities which the bidder must necessarily have in order to perform the contract strictly in accordance with its terms. Time is of the essence for this project and bids will not be considered if the contractor cannot meet the construction schedule as provided. MCL reserves the right to reject any, and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein, and to award the contract in the best interest of the owner.
