Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Denton, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
Each proposal must be accompanied an acceptable hard copy bid bond payable without recourse to the City of Denton, Texas in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal submitted as guarantee that the proposer will enter into a contract and execute a performance bond, a payment bond, and insurance certificate within ten (10) days after the notification of the award. The City of Denton, Texas reserves the right to reject or accept any proposal and award to the most advantageous proposal received. Local, minority and small business vendors are encouraged to submit proposals. Site Visit Location: 3200 Block Carmel Hills, park at the dead end. Question Cuttoff Date & Time 2/10/2025 06:00:00 PM (ET) GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK 10 The major work will consist of the (approximate) following: The project consists of trail/footpath, 11 refurbishment of the existing barn into a pavilion, a water harvesting system, playground 12 installation, ornamental plantings, exterior lighting, site furnishings, masonry and other exterior 13 improvements.
