The Summary of Pay Items for This Project is Listed in the Bid Price Proposal. Advertised Estimate: the Award Amount and Contract Performance Bond Shall Be Based on the Department S Advertised Estimate Amount of $300,000.00 and Not the Contractor S Bid Total. Performance Bond: A Contract / Performance Bond is Required for This Project. Question Deadline 10/25/2024 at 5:00 PM Questions posted to this site will be responded to by the Department. For questions posted after this time, an answer cannot be assured. For all questions posted before the deadline, FDOT will provide and post responses on online. For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00. A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects. All work is to be done in accordance with the Plans, special Provisions of the State of Florida Department of Transportation. FDOT - Call Order: 005 Spot Asphalt Repair - Dist/st-wide Remove and dispose of existing flexible pavement (asphaltic concrete), base material. Provide backfill material and compact the areas to the neat lines shown in the plans or work document issued by the Engineer. Remove and properly dispose of existing Raised Pavement Markers (RPMs) and replace with new RPMs and adhesive as specified in the work document, producing a positive guidance system to supplement other reflective pavement markings. Remove existing pavement markings and apply new thermoplastic pavement markings, apply refurbishment on existing thermoplastic pavement markings, or apply hot spray thermoplastic on existing longitudinal pavement markings in accordance with the Contract Documents. When the thickness of the existing markings and the minimum thickness of either refurbishment or hot spray will exceed the maximum pavement marking thickness, completely remove existing pavement markings and replace with hot-applied standard thermoplastic markings
