The work includes the supply and installation of monument signs for Effingham County at Multiple locations. This Project includes all work related to procuring and installing Monumental Project Signs for the Effingham County Facility Buildings included herein, including below-grade and above grade components as outlined in project documents including drawings, specifications, and attachments. This Work includes the supply and installation of all materials, manpower and equipment required to produce the Work in its entirety. Question Deadline 10/18/2024 at 2:00 PM ET Any questions that arise after the pre-proposal conference must be made in writing via the County's eProcurement Portal. Questions will only be answered if submitted through the County's eProcurement Portal. Questions will be answered via the eProcurement Portal and/or via an addendum posted on the Effingham County eProcurement Portal on or before 2:00 pm on Friday, October 25, 2024. All proposals shall be accompanied by a BID BOND in favor of the Effingham County Board of Commissioners in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the BID for the complete work. The BID BOND shall be forfeited to the Effingham County Board of Commissioners as liquidated damages if the BIDDER fails to execute the CONTRACT and provide PERFORMANCE BOND and PAYMENT BOND within fourteen (14) calendar days after being issued a Notice of Award. A Notice to Proceed will be issued immediately after the receipt of the signed Contract and P&P Bonds, and the Contractor is required to execute the NTP and begin work within fourteen (14) calendar days after signature and issuance of the NTP by the County. The Completion Date for this Contract shall be within 182 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Payment will be made on a monthly basis for work performed the previous month, less retainage.
