Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Whitecourt, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.
The Town of Whitecourt is currently soliciting proposals from various suppliers/installers in regards to the upgrade of the current seven (7) man door operators located at the Allan & Jean Millar Centre which is located at 58 Sunset Boulevard, Whitecourt, Alberta. The proponent will review existing materials to confirm best engineering practices and approaches are used throughout the project. The Proponent must provide the following services related to this project: a. Removal of all seven (7) existing operator closures and push plate switches. b. Installation of seven (7) new operator closures and push plate switches. i. All operators and push plates are to meet current building codes, must be of a commercial grade that meets or exceeds specifications of Stanley Brand M Force Operators, and must complete with fourteen (14) to thirty-six (36) inch actuator push plate switches, boxes, and any mounting hardware as per current building codes. ii. The finish, if available, should be a clear, anodized finish.
