The Qulliq Energy Corporation (the "Corporation" or "QEC") is inviting bidders to provide a tender with respect to the work set out in this Request for Tender (RFT) for manufacture, delivery, and on-site testing & commissioning services for one (1) nominal continuous rated 550 kW, 1200 rpm or less diesel-powered generator set (genset) and its ancillary equipment Question Deadline 11/07/2024 Requests for such clarifications or any other communications concerning this RFT shall be made in writing at least five (5) working days before the Tender Closing Date and Time, and to the contact provided below. A response to any question received after this deadline is not guaranteed. The Corporation reserves the right to issue an addendum after the Closing Date. QEC reserves the right to refuse to award the Contract to the lowest Bidder in circumstances where, in QEC's sole opinion, the lowest Bidder or an Associated Person to the Bidder is in or potentially in such a circumstance. a performance bond and a labour and material payment bond, each must be: (i) in an amount not less than 50% of the total contract value; (b) alternatively, the Corporation may accept, at its sole discretion, a Performance Security in an amount that is not less than 10% of the total contract in the form of a: (i) certified cheque, bank draft, or money order issued by a Canadian financial institution made payable to the Corporation (personal or business cheques will not be accepted); or (ii) letter of irrevocable guarantee issued by a Canadian financial institution, payable to the Corporation, having a termination date at least 90 days after the Contract completion date. If the Contract term is greater than one year, the letter of irrevocable guarantee must contain an "Evergreen Clause" allowing for automatic extension or renewal on an annual basis until the Contract is complete. The letter of irrevocable guarantee must contain a provision to provide the Corporation with at least 30 days' written notice if it will be cancelled or not be extended.
