This section describes the method by which construction of this project shall be measured and paid in accordance with the Bid Form. Should there be any conflicts between payment described in individual specification sections and this section; payment shall be made in accordance with this section. Any work shown on the Drawings and/or described in the Specifications but not specifically covered by the bid items shall be included in other items of Work to which it pertains. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Alternates submitted with the Bid before award of the Contract The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive technicalities and formalities for the acceptance or rejection of Bids, should such action be deemed in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner may terminate the contract due to unforeseen lack of funding for the project. Contractor agrees, if awarded the Contract, to complete the Work of the Contract and submit the final invoice before December 1, 2024. Liquidated Damages Amount: Liquidated damages for the Project are established at the rate of $1,000.00 per day until the completion of the project including all punch-list items.
