Contract Award It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible contractor whose submitted quote is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. Other factors may also include a comprehensive review of bidders past work performance, and work capacity. Award will be made by line item. All items bid differently than requested in the specifications will require the review and approval of Equipment Services before they will be accepted. All questions related to this project are to be submitted through the site through the cut off period for question submissions.
