The Project includes the following Work: Provide, develop, and test up to four water supply production wells for the purpose of developing a public water supply source at locations on Chicken Foot Road in Cumberland County, North Carolina. Elements of the project include the following at each of the four locations: o Identification of underground utilities o Clearing and grubbing o Provide, maintain, and remove of erosion control measures o Provide pilot boreholes to depth of approximately 200 feet o Geophysical logging of boreholes o Provide 12-inch diameter production wells to a depth of approximately 155 feet. o Development of production wells o 24-hour aquifer testing o Coordination of water sampling o Laboratory analyses of water samples o Surface completion or well abandonment o Surface restoration o All other Work required in accordance with the Contract Documents. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated websites as a Bidding Documents holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a third-party plan room or source other than the designated websites in either electronic or paper format. The designated websites will be updated periodically with Addenda, lists of registered Bidding Documents holders, reports on the Site, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, Addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated websites. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated websites.
