The Town of Blaine Lake invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for the rip rap the south berm of the effluent cell at the Blaine Lake lagoon. The project scope includes the installation of: Rock is to be 200 mm across in more than 50% of the material Layer of reinforced Geomembrane or like material Distance is 125 meters, Widith is 5 meters, and Height 2.5 meters This contract's term will be from signing the agreement until the end of the warranty period. All work shall be completed by November 30, 2024, unless another date is mutually agreed to by the parties. Then Town reserves the right to accept or reject and all proposals. The Town further reserves the right to award the proposal as split-order, lump sum or individual-item basis or such combination that is deemed to serve the best interests of the Town The Bidders RFP submission must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the owner in the amount of 10% of their total tendered Price as calculated on the Bid form and a Consent of Surety stating that the Bidder is able to obtain an Indemnity (Performance and labour and material payment) Bond. The Town reserves the right, if the successful bidder for any reason defaults or fails in any matter or item, to accept any other proposal, advertise for new quotations or carry out the work in any way as the Town may, at its sole discretion, deem best.
