Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Nelsonville, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct drainage and roadway improvements along Bank Street and Pine Street in the Village of Nelsonville in Putnam County. The work shall include replacing drainage pipe and structures, reconstructing sidewalks, restoring eroded slopes, and performing appurtenant work, as well as preparing, restoring, and cleaning the project site, all in accordance with the plans and specifications as directed by the Engineer. Bids shall be made on the Proposal Forms, furnished with the Specifications and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond acceptable to the Village, a certified cashier's check, drawn on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Checks shall be made payable to the Village of Nelsonville, New York, and are to be held by the Village as a guarantee for the proper execution and delivery of the Contract and bonds to secure the faithful performance thereof. In default of such execution and delivery of Contract and Bonds, the amount of the deposit represented by the check shall be forfeited to and retained by the Village of Nelsonville as liquidated damages. Bid Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the Bidder, addressed to the Village of Nelsonville, 258 Main Street, Nelsonville, New York 10516 and endorsed "Pine Street and Bank Street Drainage and Roadway Improvements, Nelsonville, NewYork." The Village of Nelsonville reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any informality in any Bid, and to award the Contract to other than the lowest Bidder if deemed in the best interest of the Village to do so. Every request for information or interpretation of Bidding Documents or Drawings must be addressed in writing or e-mail to the Village Consulting Engineer, James J. Hahn Engineering, P.C., Putnam Business Park, 1689 route 22, Brewster, New York, 10509 and to be given any consideration must be received at least eight (8) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
