Site work and renovation of a civil project in Somers, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Rebuilding of the six single pass sand filter beds, including repairs/extensions to their underdrain systems, distribution systems, control panels, support surrounds, and other work to convert them into a recirculating scheme; installation of a new concrete pump valve chamber adjacent to the existing pump station, including connection into the existing with new piping; furnish and install a new center flow automatic screening system into existing disinfection concrete chamber, including electrical supply and control equipment; furnish and install new SCADA equipment; furnish and install new flow sensors; perform concrete repairs within the effluent filter tank and disinfection chamber, miscellaneous site grading and restoration, all as described and shown in these contract documents.
