Site work for a bridge / tunnel in McDonough, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed construction consists of furnishing all materials and equipment and performing all labor necessary to satisfactorily complete the work described on the streets as listed above. Work being more specifically described in the Contract Bid Documents. All work shall be in accordance with the current up to date Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications and Supplemental Specifications (Latest Editions) and Details and the City of McDonough. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of not less than 5% (Five Percent) of the Total Base Bid. Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% (One Hundred Percent) of the total contract amount, will be required of the successful bidder. Bonds must be written by an acceptable Surety Company licensed to do business in the State of Georgia and listed in the Department of Treasury, Circular 570, latest edition. Questions will be received via email to dbmillen@JMT.com or clmoore@JMT.com up to 5:00pm on Monday, October 14, 2024. Questions will be answered and posted in the form of an addendum on the procurement registry site by Thursday October 17, 2024. The Mayor and City Council reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive the informalities or technicalities or to re-advertise as appropriate.
