The City of Grant Tree Advisory Board is seeking bids from qualified tree contractors for the removal of up to nine (9) Ash trees in or encroaching on City of Grant Right of Way's (ROW) as part of Grant Funding received by the Nebraska Forest Service's (NFS) State Urban Forest Resiliency Program (SUFR). The selected contractor must be able to safely remove up to nine (9) Ash trees as selected by the City of Grant Tree Advisory Board's Certified Arborist as well as grinding out the stump, removing all debris, and returning the area to a smooth surface. The City of Grant will be responsible for planting a tree to replace the tree that is removed. The Contractor will be responsible for providing liability insurance in the minimum amount of $50,000 for bodily injury and $100,000 property damage indemnifying the city or any person injured or damage resulting from the pursuit of such endeavors as mentioned above and be willing to work with the guidance of the City of Grant Tree Advisory Board's Certified Arborist.
