The City of Scranton Department of Code Enforcement is seeking separate sealed bids for Plumbing/HVAC Services - City of Scranton Buildings. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following tasks: Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance of Plumbing systems in city buildings, as directed by city staff. Identifying and resolving Plumbing/HVAC issues promptly and efficiently. Performing repairs, replacements, and upgrades as necessary to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshooting Plumbing/HVAC problems and providing emergency services on a 24/7 basis. Conducting Plumbing/HVAC safety audits and maintaining compliance with local and national Plumbing codes. Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventory. Providing recommendations for energy-efficient solutions and cost-saving measures. Offering expert advice and technical support to city personnel as needed. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and standards. Related Plumbing/HVAC services as may arise. A pre-proposal conference will not be held. All questions must be received before the deadline set forth above. Inquiries received afterwards will not receive responses. No telephone calls with questions will be taken. Bids will be handled confidentially by the City during the pre-award process. This Invitation to Bid (ITB) provides interested parties with sufficient information to prepare and submit bids for consideration by the City of Scranton for Plumbing/HVAC Services - City of Scranton Buildings. Question Submission Deadline:October 11, 2024, 11:00 am Once registered, you may view and click "Follow" to be a prospective bidder for this ITB. You will then appear on the followers list. If you do not follow this project you will not receive automatic addenda notifications, nor will you be able to draft a response in the City's e-Procurement Portal, and therefore you will be unable to participate in or be considered for this ITB. All bid documents and supplementary documents must be uploaded and submitted using the City's e-Procurement Portal Once file(s) have been uploaded and the submission status shows as "Submitted," the submission is complete. At that point, bidder's representative who is registered with the City will receive an email confirmation from the City's e-Procurement Portal. All communications regarding technical, scope, and/or project related questions and requests for clarifications, changes, exceptions, and deviations to the terms and conditions set forth in this ITB shall be submitted via "Q&A" through the City's e-Procurement Portal, before the deadline of 11:00 am on Friday, October 11, 2024 and according to these specifications herein. The successful Bidder will enter into a contract for a term of January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2027.
