Job Location Genesee County, 1101 Beach St., Flint, MI 48502 Question Deadline 10/31/2024 at 5:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online No General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Insurance Required - Prevailing Wage Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Work will consist of providing and installing fiber cabling from the McCree Building's 2nd floor MDF (630 S. Saginaw St) to the new Genesee County Tower Building's basement MDF (324 S. Saginaw St). The County has reviewed two (2) methods in which this cabling can be installed. Contractors may bid on either option or both. Work is to include the following: McCree to the Tower Path: o Provide and install (1) 288 strand single mode indoor / outdoor plenum fiber optic cable. o Provide and install LC fusion splice pigtails at both ends for 12 strands for McCree to the Tower. o Provide and install Corning wall mount termination boxes at both ends for McCree and the Tower. o Provide and install Corning LC adaptor panels at both ends for McCree and the Tower. o Provide labeling, testing, and certification. o Provide and install firestop where required. o Provide and install (1) one underground conduit for the fiber between McCree and the Tower. o Provide and install handholes to access the fiber where appropriate. o Underground bore from the McCree Building (630 S. Saginaw St) up Beach St to the Genesee County Tower Building (324 S. Saginaw St) Alternate suggestions for the pathway would be considered. Fiber will run from the 2nd floor MDF of the McCree building to the basement MDF of the Genesee County Tower building.
