This Contract involves sanitary sewer repairs including but not limited to: sanitary sewer full length manhole to manhole lining CIPP repairs; spot lining CIPP repairs; pre and post CCTV inspections; internal reinstatement of active service laterals; cutting of protruding taps; internal rehabilitation of sanitary sewer manholes; location and adjustment of buried sanitary sewer manholes; installation of manholes; traffic control; resident and business notification; and site restoration, complete in place. All traffic control and restoration of disturbed areas are also included in this project. Bids for any Contract will only be considered from Bidders that are pre-qualified by the Township of Upper St. Clair in accordance with Chapter 25 of the Township Code. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates MUST be paid on this project. Questions must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager, Scott R. Baker, by email only at sbaker@gatewayengineers.com. Questions will not be taken by phone. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of the Township of Upper St. Clair in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within fifteen (15) days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. Performance, Maintenance, and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified Docs notes ; No refund or exchange will be made for the return of any documents. A ten ($10.00) dollar mailing fee will be charged for any documents delivered by U.S. mail. Electronic copies of the Contract Documents will be made available to potential Bidders at no charge upon request. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
