Award of Agreements - December 2024 Question Deadline 10/23/2024 at 3:00 PM PT All questions can be addressed to: City of Sacramento, Contract Services Attn: Kirsten Wise 5730 24th Street, Building 4 Sacramento, CA 95822 SCOPE OF SERVICES: Environmental Site Assessments, Remediation Services and Hazardous Materials Surveys This solicitation is being utilized to select environmental consultants for the City of Sacramento's Facility's Division within the Public Works Department and the City's Office of Innovation and Economic Development Program. Consultants may be chosen for 1 or both Programs. The City of Sacramento is requesting qualifications from firms with expertise in one or more of the following areas: o Perform Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with current standards and/or regulations including the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), All Appropriate Inquiries regulation (40 CFR Part 312), and the current ASTM Standard. o Conduct soil, soil vapor, groundwater and other hazardous material investigations. Provide assessments and recommendations based on what was found. o Conduct hazardous materials sampling for asbestos, lead, mold, PCB's, etc. and provide assessments and recommendations based on what was found. o Perform air quality assessments and testing for mold, asbestos, lead, vapor intrusion, dust and other substances. o Prepare risk assessments, remedial feasibility studies, remediation action plans, work plans, health & safety plans and other reports related to environmental work. o Possess the necessary training, licenses, certifications and understanding of environmental regulations/requirements at state, federal and local levels. o Monitor and/or oversee hazardous substance abatement and/or remediation by others. o Assist the City in achieving case closure with regulatory agencies for properties contaminated by hazardous materials. o Oversee the design, installation, operation and maintenance of equipment, activities and/or processes required for environmental remediation projects. o Properly dispose of hazardous wastes, including testing, transportation and disposition. The proposal shall contain no more than 30 single-sided 8 1/2 " x 11" pages (not counting dividers). All pages shall be numbered. A table of contents and index dividers shall be included for ease of review by the selection committee The City of Sacramento, Department of Public Works is requesting qualification statements from qualified professional consultants for the purpose of establishing Professional Service Agreements and an on- call prequalified list in the specialty areas This solicitation is being utilized to select environmental consultants for the City of Sacramento's Facility's Division within the Public Works Department and the City's Office of Innovation and Economic Development Program. Consultants may be chosen for 1 or both Programs. Scope of Services This solicitation is being utilized to select environmental consultants for the City of Sacramento's Facility's Division within the Public Works Department and the City's Office of Innovation and Economic Development Program. Consultants may be chosen for 1 or both Programs. The City reserves the right to utilize different project delivery methods, such as design/build, design/bid/build, design/assist, or any other method, in order to achieve its goal of streamlining the delivery of projects. In some instances, a consultant may team up with a pre-selected contractor to deliver a project. The contract will be a five-year term contract, in an amount not to exceed determined by panel members for the five year term. We anticipate contract amounts not to exceed $950,000 and be dependent on the need of that particular category. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
