Site work for a road / highway in Anchorage, Alaska. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Alaska Aerospace Corporation (AAC) requires a contractor to provide labor, equipment, and materials to complete a concrete addition to Pacific Spaceport Complex-Alaska's (PSCA) Pad C, Area 3. Excavating : Excavate 36" down for a 30x30 concrete slab. Grounding #1/0 AWG bare stranded copper grounding wire buried 30" below grade required surrounding slab. Ground rods 3/4 " diameter x 10' long are required to be exothermally welds to the ground wire at each counterpoise and every corner not greater than 50' apart on center. Furnish and install all ground rods, connect ground conductor to counterpoise, #1/0 AWG bare stranded copper grounding wire and Cadweld shots. Stub up 10' ground conductor to counterpoise. Embankment Complete backfill 28" once counterpoise and ground rods are installed, 95% compaction required. Stockpile excess material at Area 5 and backfill slab once concrete is complete.
