On-Call Professional Services- Architecture and Other Design Services. Award of Agreements - December 2024 ADA services will be used in order to assist City project managers with priority ADA/Access Compliance and Survey work, including removal of architectural barriers that would give the greatest access to the largest number of individuals in City Facilities. The proposal shall contain no more than 30 single-sided 8 1/2 " x 11" pages (not counting dividers). All pages shall be numbered. A table of contents and tabs shall be included for ease of review by the selection committee. Scope of Services The City of Sacramento, Department of Public Works is requesting qualification statements from qualified professional consultants for the purpose of establishing Professional Service Agreements and an on- call prequalified list in the specialty areas outlined in Section 2 - Scopes of Services. This prequalified list will be established to assist City staff with future Public Works projects and could potentially be utilized by other departments to enter into separate agreements., and that multiple consultants from each specialty category may be chosen from the On-call list. Request for services will be made on a project-by-project basis. The City's intent is to rotate consultants; however, multiple proposals may be requested from several On-call Consultants for the same project and determination will be based on staff expertise in specific disciplines, availability of staff, and other related qualifications as determined by the City project manager. All individual projects will be prepared based on negotiated fees and proposals that are determined at the time the work is required. Each project may vary in scope and magnitude. Additional requirements may be added depending upon the funding source for each individual project. Projects will be delivered in accordance with project plans and specifications and within the funding requirements as necessary. There is no minimum guarantee of work under these contracts. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. It is anticipated that the City will utilize consultant services on projects where consultant fees are estimated from $1,000 to $250,000 range per project The City reserves the right to utilize different project delivery methods, such as design/build, design/bid/build, design/assist, or any other method, in order to achieve its goal of streamlining the delivery of projects. In some instances, a consultant may team up with a pre-selected contractor to deliver a project. The contract will be a five-year term contract, in an amount not to exceed determined by panel members for the five years term. We anticipate contract amounts not to exceed $950,000 and be dependent on the need of that particular category. Amendments to Request for Proposal The City reserves the right to amend the RFQ by addendum prior to the final submittal date. The City also reserves the right to extend the qualifications due date, or to cancel this RFQ at any time. This RFQ does not commit the City to award a contract, to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a submittal for this request, or to procure or contract for services. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submittals received as a result of this request, to negotiate with any qualified firm or to modify or cancel in part or in its entirety the RFQ if it is in the best interests of the City to do so. Award of Contract It is anticipated that compensation under any contract resulting from this RFQ will have a five-year term. A separate contract will be awarded for each service.
