The work includes construction of new Taxiway (TW) L segments and a taxiway connector between TW L and TW M, as well as a new Remain Overnight (RON) apron accommodating four narrowbody aircraft. Associated improvements include new airfield electrical systems, LED taxiway lighting, illuminated guidance signage, pavement markings, high mast lighting, CCTV cameras, relocation of the existing Air Operations Area (AOA) fence and the construction of a new retaining wall. Supporting civil improvements include relocation of Vandriver Street and existing maintenance roads, relocation and protection of impacted utilities, and construction of two new stormwater drainage ponds designed for detention and water quality treatment. All work will be phased to mitigate impacts to airfield operations and comply with FAA requirements.
