Paris Utility Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenances necessary for the construction of the following Project: Water System Improvements - Contract 2 - Downtown Distribution System The Project includes the following Work: o Installation of approximately 10,372 LF 6-inch C900 DR14 PVC water line or approved equal including connection to existing water lines. o Trenchless method installation of approximately 120 LF 12-inch casing pipe and 6-inch carrier pipe. o Installation of approximately 209 water service assemblies (trenchless and open cut) from existing water lines to new water line. o Installation of accessories to include gate valves, tapping sleeves & valves, fire hydrants, and removal of existing fire hydrants. o Installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment controls, and site restoration including driveway and street pavement removal and replacement, and surface restoration. The Project has an expected duration of 420 consecutive calendar days. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon.
