As of December 19, 2024, the project was awarded to Custer Excavating Inc., with an awarded amount of $65,827.90. Question Deadline 10/28/2024 at 4:00 PM ET Questions through Online Portal The work generally includes, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 310 linear feet of 18-inch storm sewer piping with associated structures (inlets, manholes, endwall) including excavation and backfill, pavement restoration, curb restoration, and other associated work as more fully described on the Construction Drawings. Bidders are advised that they must comply with all State anti-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this project and are required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the Bid. Each Bid shall also be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid total. Instruction on how to submit Bid Bond or other acceptable form of bid security are provided in the Instruction to Bidders contained in the Project Manual. The Successful Bidder shall be required to provide a Payment and Performance Bond in the amount of the contract price prior to the Contract Award. Successful Bidder shall also be required to submit prior to Contract Award an Act 127 Public Works Employment Verification Form verifying that all employees performing work on Project are authorized to work in the United States. The Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Wage rates are contained in the Project Manual. All Bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the Bid opening date unless delayed due to the required approvals of another government agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which case the Bids shall be irrevocable for 120 days after the Bid opening in accordance with Act 317 of 1978, and subsequent amendments. Annville Township reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, mistakes, informalities, to accept any Bid or combination of Bids that are deemed to be in the best interest of the Township, and to reject any or all proposals.
