Renovation of an educational facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project consists of demolishing (1) wall between existing Conference #359 and Storage #358A to enlarge the Conference Room. (2) Entry doors to the new enlarged Conference Room will be removed and infilled with gypsum walls. All finishes will be updated including carpet, paint, trim, and wall base. The existing ceiling grid system of Conference #359 will be retained, if possible, and continued with new grid system into the former Storage #358A area. New ACT will be installed throughout the ceiling grid system. Modifications to lighting, electrical, and HVAC will be included. All questions shall be submitted in writing to Lauren Beverly (lbeverly@cplteam.com) by September 30, 2024 by 5:00pm for a final addendum to be issued by October 1, 2024 if necessary. A Bid Bond is not required for this project. A performance bond and a payment bond will not be required for this project. Laughlin-Sutton will assist M/WBEs in getting required bonding on the construction contract by offering bonding assistance, or by providing alternatives to bonding for M/WBEs. Laughlin-Sutton will provide one of the following types of assistance to M/WBEs in connection with the contract: Assistance in obtaining equipment, joint pay agreements, purchase of supplies, or letters of credit, including waiving credit that is ordinarily required; or Assistance in obtaining the same unit pricing with the Bidder's/Participant's suppliers as the Bidder/Participant.
