Demolition and site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Bend, Oregon. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Demolition & removal of all existing structures & associated infrastructure on the project site including backfill of removed foundations, removal of all rubbish, removal of selected marked trees, including root balls & grading & reseeding of all disturbed areas. This contract is for the demolition of existing structures and related facilities at 20185 Reed Lane, Bend OR, the project site. B. Project Introduction: In 2023 the district purchased property for the future construction of a neighborhood park. The owners of the property have lived on the property for many years. The property contains an old residence, a garage, carport, shed and a pump house structures as well as other associated facilities. The district intends to utilize the property as a neighborhood park, and does not require the use of any existing facilities. C. Project Budget: The districts estimated cost for construction on this phase of the project is $80,000.00 +/- D. Overall project scope: Demolition and removal of all existing structures and associated infrastructure on the project site including backfill of removed foundations, removal of all rubbish, removal of selected marked trees, including root balls and grading and reseeding of all disturbed areas. Includes all work necessary for the demolition of (5) separate structures, related connections, foundations, fencing and proper removal and disposal of all associated materials. The work will require the removal of asbestos containing material by a licensed contractor prior to demolition, (see attached asbestos report). Work also includes the abandonment, (county permit required), and removal of a septic system, including all piping, drainfield piping, septic tank and any required over excavation and backfill of soils. Removal of flagged trees including root balls. Demolition and backfill of all site concrete footings, slabs aprons, fences and any debris and rubbish on site. Demolition and removal of all connected utilities, water shall be terminated at the meter, all piping removed and backfilled. Power, telephone and communications wiring shall be terminated at the supply power pole, located on site, and removed from the structure to the pole and properly disposed of, including all accessory wiring between structures. All paved and gravel driveways shall be removed and scarified, excludes access curb cuts within the Right of Ways. Work will include the following: Scarifying areas of the site that have been compacted, placement of clean, certified weed free, topsoil and grading of demo areas in and around the demolition project. All holes and removed foundations and structures shall be filled and graded to match existing grades. C. Exposed top soils shall be overseeded with Sunmark Native Upland seed mix at a rate of 1.00 lb. per 1,000 sq. ft. and covered with a min 3î mulch material approved by the district.
