The Scope of Work include construction of approximatley 22 LF of 10-Inch Diameter SDR 35 PVC gravity sewer, 13 LF of 10 SDR 26 PVC gravity sewer, 1,117 LF of 18-Inch SDR 35 PVC gravity sewer, 270 LF of 18-inch SDR 26, 110 LF of 18-inch SDR 26 restrained joint PVC and 2,662 LF of 4-inch SDR 21, Class 200 PVC force main; 105 LF of 30- inch steel encasement; 8 manholes and other incidental items and work described in the Project Manual, or reasonably inferable therefrom. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft on a responsible solvent Missouri bank, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable Surety company, naming the Owner as Obligee, in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Base bid plus the greatest of the Alternate bids (Bid Security). The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum as security for the faithful performance of the Contract, and also a Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum as security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the project under this Contract and furnishing materials in connection with this Contract. The Surety shall be a company licensed to do business in the State of Missouri and shall be acceptable to the Owner. The City of Versailles anticipates issuing notice to proceed in November 2024 Bidder understands that Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
