(1) - Pulaski Contract 6A (Construction Inspection C-6 Level B) The subject project involves the rehabilitation of the Pulaski Skyway underdeck trusses from Span 70 to Span 76 including the complete structural steel cleaning & painting and extensive structural steel repairs. Temporary shielding and bridge drainage upgrades will be required in all the spans. The rocker bearings will be fully reconstructed in Spans 71,73, 75 and 77. The work also includes full substructure pier column replacements with new bearings at Piers 71 thru 75 which will require drilled shafts, cofferdams and existing footing enlargements and temporary support structures to support Skway during pier replacements. The roadway work includes utility relocation, regulated waste management, extensive dewatering, electrical and ITS relocations and limited roadway reconstructions.
