The Work involves providing preventative and corrective maintenance services for twenty (23) standby power generators on a scheduled and as-needed basis. Work tasks shall include, but not be limited to, inspection and replacement of equipment components, oil purchases and changes, radiator flushing, coolant purchasing and changes, filter purchasing and replacements, load testing, documentation of operating conditions and other maintenance and inspection work as requested. Bidder shall also be responsible for the proper disposal of all used oils, antifreeze and other liquid and solid wastes that are a byproduct of this service agreement. All requests for information or clarification shall be submitted electronically through the Questions and Answers section within the online . Questions and answers will be distributed to all businesses that have subscribed to the bid within the electronic system. No questions related to the Notice Inviting Bids or Bid Documents will be answered after 4:00 pm on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. The Bidder that is awarded the Contract shall be required to obtain the insurance required as listed in Attachment B of the Maintenance Services Agreement. The Contractor and any subcontractors bidding on this contract must be registered with Department of Industrial Relations as a "public works contractor" prior to submitting the bid. The Successful Bidder and its agents, employees and subcontractors shall comply with the provisions of the California Labor Code, including those relating to the payment of prevailing wage rates and furnishing all payroll records electronically to the DIR. The hourly rates bid shall be effective from January 1, 2025 until the Agreement's expiration on December 31, 2027.
