Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work. The overall project improvements include: 1. Constructing a new storm sewer system comprising various sizes of pipes and boxes, along with storm structures, and regrading existing roadside ditches. 2. Replacing existing pavement and subgrade as required for storm improvements. 3. Installing new or replacing existing water and sanitary facilities that conflict with the proposed construction. 4. Implementing traffic control plans, stormwater pollution prevention measures, and installing permanent signage and pavement markings. 5. The project includes the following street segments within the City of Dickinson, Galveston County,Texas. This project is funded by the Texas General Land Office of the State of Texas to provide for the restoration of infrastructure for communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The funds have been allocated by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development through the Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation Program." Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs), minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit a bid.
