It is the intent and purpose of these specifications to outline and detail the terms and conditions under which a successful bidder(s), Vendor(s), shall provide and deliver #2 FUEL OIL, ON & OFF ROAD DIESEL FUELS to various members of the Lehigh Valley Cooperative Purchasing Council locations in vehicles of approximate size of a tank wagon which has a delivery capacity of 2,800 gallons and or a tank truck which has a delivery capacity of 7,500 gallons which ever is more appropriate for the location. Provider shall not assign or otherwise transfer any of its responsibilities or obligations under the contract to any other person or entity.' A bid bond in the amount often percent (10%) of the base bid amount shall be submitted with bidder's proposal for said bid to be considered. Any bid bond submitted must be covered with surety of a company authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The period of the contract shall be from approximately January 1,2025 through December 31,2027. The contract may be canceled by the County by giving Vendor thirty (30) days written notice of intent to cancel.
