Wet and Dry Systems: Wet Systems must be inspected every 2 months (5 times per year as required by Ontario Fire Code) along with one (1) annual test. Dry Systems must be tested annually. A trip test every three (3) years is also required. After performing the trip test a monthly low point test (November to March) will need to be conducted to make sure the system is completely drained. Standpipes: One (1) annual flush of the fire department connections Hydrostatic testing once every five (5) years Fire Pumps Diesel fire pump weekly testing (30 minute test) One (1) annual fire pump test Question Deadline: Fri Oct 18, 2024 1:00:00 PM (EDT)
