As of October 31, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on November 14, 2024. The delivery method for the Project will be Design-Bid-Build. The selected engineer will be required to provide a full range of design services for a fully usable, operational, and code compliant facility that satisfies the County's project requirements, including but not limited . George Poston Park contains walking and mountain biking trails, athletic fields, a fishing pier, playgrounds, a pump track, picnic shelters, and a lake stocked with fish. Construction of the lake, dam and emergency spillway was completed in 2010. Over the last 14 years, settlement has occurred within the emergency spillway resulting in the emergency spillway wingwalls settling, shifting, and rotating.
