The City of Gloucester hereby solicits sealed bids from responsive and responsible Landscape Professionals to provide mowing/trimming services of City owned property in accordance with the provisions of the Massachusetts General Laws, chapter 30B. The contract will be for 1 year with the option to renew for 2 additional 1 year periods at the sole discretion of the City. The City of Gloucester is seeking bids for vegetation clearing services beginning on a mutually agreed upon date no earlier than November 1, 2024. The contractor must clean the area prior to mowing and weed clearing. Contract is for a minimum of 2 bi-annual cutting sessions (October or November & June). The contract manager and the contractor will mutually agree upon the dates. Any additional cuts beyond the scope of the contact shall be at the unit price bid. See attached plans for location descriptions, grass/weed clearing. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The City shall not be responsible for proposals arriving late for any reason.
